The Goss Opera House is the heart of downtown Watertown because of the vision of Charles
Goss and the commitment of our community.
We invite you to share your talents as a volunteer at the Goss Opera House. Whether you
prefer cleaning, clerical work, serving as a tour guide, staffing concerts and events, or doing
some heavy lifting we are always looking for support. Contact our Executive Director, Jamie Mack (director@thegossoperahouse.com or 605-753-0200) to join our extraordinary army of
volunteers.
Gifts to the Friends of the Goss may be tax deductible. Gifts may include cash, stocks, bonds,
CDs, mutual funds or IRA rollovers. Donors may also make gifts of real estate such as land or a
home. Gifts of such items that have an appreciated value may offer some significant tax
advantages, such as avoiding capital gains tax and other benefits. Making a gift through your
estate plan is also an option. A “planned gift” may be as bequest in a will and is an important
tool for donors considering a future gift to the Friends of the Goss. A planned gift could also be a
sophisticated estate plan that provides the donor with tax and income benefits now.
Please contact our Executive Director, Jamie Mack (director@thegossoperahouse.com or 605-753-0200) for more information about how you can support the Friends of the Goss.

The Friends of The Goss would like to thank the Watertown Area Community Foundation for their continued support.
Consider a donation to the Goss Opera House Endowment Fund at the Watertown Area Community Foundation. Earnings from this endowment fund provide annual support to the Goss to support our mission to create exceptional experiences that strengthen and inspire our community.
The Goss is a beautiful venue for a wedding (any other event). The service, planning, communication, professionalism, and organization by the staff was second to none. Everything was perfect! Thank you for helping us make memories!
